In this article, we will be referring to updates regarding Legacy subscription plans. A Legacy subscription refers to pricing/subscription models that are no longer offered by Mention. Users on a Legacy subscription plan do not have access to new features.



Solo, Pro, and Pro Plus Plans

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the quality and value of the Mention social listening solution, we are implementing a pricing adjustment for legacy monthly self-service plans, effective December 5th, 2025.

Important: These plans are no longer available for purchase by new customers. Only existing subscribers to these legacy plans will be affected by this update.

Why Are We Making This Change?

Mention continues to evolve as a high-value social listening platform designed to deliver accurate insights and top-tier performance. Over the past few years, several factors have contributed to increased operational costs, including:

  • Access to premium data sources (such as X/Twitter), whose API costs have increased significantly.

  • The expertise of our Support and Success teams, who provide professional, human-centered guidance to our users.

  • Ongoing investment in product innovation, ensuring Mention remains a competitive, feature-rich solution that meets evolving market needs.

The previous pricing for these multi-year-old plans was no longer aligned with today’s social listening market realities or the investments required to sustain a premium service. This adjustment allows us to continue delivering a reliable, high-quality solution for all users.

Q: Why this increase?
A: The adjustment reflects the rising costs of premium data access (notably X/Twitter) and our continued investment in maintaining high-quality service and expert support. It ensures Mention remains aligned with current market standards while preserving the level of service our users expect.

Q: Can I keep my old pricing?
A: No, the pricing adjustment will apply automatically to all customers on legacy monthly self-service plans starting December 5th, 2025 (following the notice period beginning November 5).
