Mention Alerts offer two search capabilities: keyword searches and Monitored Pages! Monitored Pages function separately from your keywords search and they will not take into account your search terms.
In this article, we will provide you with an overview of the Monitored Pages feature in your alert. This includes information on how to properly format your URLs and which websites are compatible with the Monitored Pages feature. If you would like to review information on specific alerts, please use these quick links:
Overview of Monitored Pages
Monitored Pages will track all of the new content posted from the URLs that are added to the alert regardless of the keywords in your alert search. This is a great way to track social handles and reviews for your brand or your competitors.
In the Mention platform, you can access Monitored Pages during alert creation or alert editing. When a new URL is added to the alert, Mention will fetch all new content posted by the social handle or website.
❗Mentions from Monitored Pages will be fetched after the URL is added to your alert. Mention does not track historical data from Monitored Pages.
Types of Monitored Pages
Mention supports the following platforms for the Monitored Pages feature:
--
