Overview of your Mention Subscription
In this section, we will provide an overview of your subscription details and what to expect for your account. If you would like information about modifying or reviewing current billing information for the subscription, please head to the next section of this article!
❗️The information we will be sharing in this section of the article will only pertain to Solo, Pro, and ProPlus subscriptions. If you are interested in purchasing or have already purchased a Company Plan , please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or assistance on your account.
Mention offers multiple self-service subscriptions that you can purchase at any time through the pricing website or from your Subscription page.
If you are intending to purchase a new subscription for a new account and email, you will need to use the pricing website. After a new subscription is purchased, Mention will automatically activate your subscription and unlock the new features you purchased:
If you already have an account and seek to modify your plan to a new subscription, you will need to access your Subscription tab and choose the Change Plan option. When you modify your subscription, your new features on the account will be activated and your mentions quota will reset:
You have the option of subscribing to a monthly or yearly plan depending on your preference. You also have the option of modifying your subscription to a different billing cycle when you adjust your plan.
If you purchased a monthly subscription, your account will automatically be renewed every 30 days for the subscription. Mention will charge the primary credit card that is on file for your account.
If you purchased a yearly subscription, your account will be automatically renewed on the following year of your purchase date. Mention will charge the primary credit card on file.
If you intend to change your subscription to a new plan, you will be given the option to choose the billing option of monthly or yearly.
❗️At this time, Mention does not allow you to change the billing cycle of your current subscription. For example, if you subscribed to a Pro Plan with monthly billing, then you cannot change this plan to yearly billing.
If you are on the Pro or ProPlus plan, you will only have access to the Subscription & Billing information if you are a Mention Administrator. If you are not an Admin on your account, you will not have access to the Subscription tab in your settings page.
Please contact a team admin to have your role changed if you need access to the subscription details for your account!
Understand your Subscription Settings Page
If you would like to review your active subscription or modify any aspects of your billing information, you can head over to the Subscription tab in your Settings page.
In the next section of this article, we will the layout of the Subscription tab.
Review your Subscription Details & Modify Your Plan
The 'Current Plan' section at the top of the page tells you the plan you are currently subscribed to. In the box, you can also review the features included in your subscription:
The Current Plan section gives you the option to modify your plan if you desire to change subscriptions or cancel your plan.
❗️If you have a Company Account, please contact your Account Manager for any requests to change subscription.
Modify your Billing Details
As you scroll down the page, you will encounter the Billing section where you can change your name, address, and phone number:
You can modify this information at any time and then click Save at the top-right corner! When you modify the billing details, the new information will reflect on your next invoice.

If you need modifications made to a past invoice, please contact email@example.com.
If you would like to add or change a VAT number to your billing information, please share the VAT number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add it to your account.
Modify your Card Details
When you subscribe to a Mention plan using a credit or debit card, your card details will appear in the Payment Method section. You have the option of adding new credit cards and removing old cards for your subscription in this area of your Subscription page.
To add a new card, simply click on the 'add a new card' button on the page and fill in your card details. If you would like to make your new card the default card for your account, please hover over the new card and use the button to 'Mark as Default'.
To remove a card, please hover over the card you do not want to keep on file and click on the trash bin icon that appears. This button will allow you to remove the card on file.
❗️There must always be a card on file for your subscription. If you want to remove any old cards, you must add the new one first! If you attempt to remove a credit card without having a replacement, you will receive an error on your account.

Review your Previous Invoices
For information about your previous charges, you can Invoice History section. This section will list all of the invoices sent to your account from your subscriptions. You have the option of downloading the invoice in PDF format for your own storage:
If you are reviewing an invoice and realize that you need to make modifications on it, please contact email@example.com! Our team can assist with invoice changes such as billing information and VAT adjustments.
❗️At this time, Mention does not email invoices to clients when charges are made. All invoices are available in this section of the platform.
